The Infomediary business model is used by companies that specialize in data collection. They act as information intermediaries, assisting buyers and sellers in a given market. The four types are advertising networks, audience measurement services, incentive marketing and metamediary. An advertising network example is Doubleclick. An audience measurement service example is Nielsen. An incentive marketing example is Coolsavings. A metamediary example is Edmunds.
